Terms of Service

1. About Us
Family Nest Hub Ltd (“Family Nest Hub”, “we”, “us”) provides an online platform that enables households (“Families”) to discover, message, and book self-employed or independently employed providers (“Providers”) for childcare and home services.

2. Platform Role
We are a platform, not the employer of Providers. Families and Providers contract with each other directly. We are not party to those contracts and do not guarantee outcomes, availability, or suitability. Payments are processed via SureCart/Stripe on your instructions.
3. Accounts & Eligibility
- You must be 18+ to use the Platform.
- Provide accurate information and keep credentials confidential.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach, fraud, or safety concerns.
4. Plans, Fees & Payments
- Registration & Memberships: Fees as shown at checkout (e.g., Family registration, Concierge, Unlimited Hire Membership).
- Placement / Finder’s Fee: Where applicable, payable by Families when they select or engage a Provider outside Unlimited Hire terms.
- Provider Earnings: Providers set rates unless otherwise stated. We may charge platform fees as displayed before purchase.
- All prices include/exclude VAT as indicated. Invoices/receipts are issued automatically.
- Refunds/cancellations follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Bookings & Cancellations
Booking requests are not confirmed until accepted and paid (where required). Each booking is a direct agreement between Family and Provider. Cancellation windows, charges, and rescheduling rules are defined in the Refund & Cancellation Policy and/or as displayed at checkout or on the booking form.
6. Provider Vetting & DBS
We operate a “Verified” badge for Providers who supply documentation (e.g., DBS). Verification is based on documents provided and expiry dates. We do not warrant the authenticity beyond reasonable checks; Families should conduct their own due diligence. “Verified” status may lapse on expiry or where documentation is not current.
7. Acceptable Use
- No harassment, discrimination, or unlawful activity.
- No sharing of others’ personal data without consent.
- No attempts to bypass fees for engagements initiated on the Platform.
- No posting of false, misleading, or infringing content.
8. Intellectual Property & Content
The Platform design, trademarks, and content are owned by Family Nest Hub or our licensors. By posting reviews or profiles, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and display such content to operate and promote the Platform.
9. Disclaimers & Liability
- We provide the Platform “as is” and do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
- We are not responsible for users’ conduct, services delivered, or third-party sites.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence.
- Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for paid services is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate an account with notice. We may suspend or terminate immediately for material breach, safety, or legal reasons. Certain clauses survive termination (e.g., fees due, IP, liability limits).
11. Disputes
We encourage parties to resolve issues directly. If you contact us, we may (but are not obliged to) assist informally. These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales; courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to services or law. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
